FAILED CANTIDATES MUST COMPLETE THE CLASSROOM COMPONENT OF DRIVER EDUCATION (DMV KNOWLEDGE TEST)
  • Candidates who are 18 years old and younger must complete the 36-hour classroom course.
  • According to Virginia, DMV candidates 19 years or older who fail the knowledge test three (3) times may take the exam again after successfully completing a new "Driver's Manual Course". The “Driver’s Manual Course” is an eight (8) hour classroom course are based on the Virginia Driver's Manual and the course is an alternative to the current 36-hour driver education course.
